I'd never heard of Queens University in Charlotte but getting into that media market seems like a good draw for the conference. They currently sponsor 18 D2 sports in the SAC. They have won numerous Swimming/Diving national championships and that would compliment ASUN teams that sponsor that sport already.

Well this is interesting, saw it first over on the CSN boards. Man, having VSU and UWG come up would be great, IMO. And I honestly think if one commits to doing it the other will almost be forced to as well. According to a twit from the Commissioner apparently he doesn’t agree to Pete’s definition of Vetting |

Our offense last week gave me all the misdirection I need for awhile….still not quite over that display. Less than 100 yards in one game? Ok tomorrow is a new day and we hit a couple of explosive plays.

I really do hope we don't suck for too long. As a '95 grad, this is just weird for me. Totally agree. Those of us in school at that time were certainly spoiled. Yet, next years ASUN will be the most competitive conference the Lions have ever played in. I’m proud, excited, nervous, horrified, and so much more. The new AD, settled in President, talk of facilities and such make me hopeful. But, I’m the first to be super critical because all we did was win “back in the day”. It’s hard to grow and take lumps. Lumps most of these new ASUN teams have been taking years before UNA. I’m just glad people still care enough to chime in and be passionate. Call it how y’all see it and let’s continue to support the Lions! |
