Having not watched the SUU or A&M game, what does UNA need to do to stay competitive in this game? What are UNA fans going to be hoping to see out of their team?

On Offense: Job 1 - Protect our QB On Defense: Play lights out, lockdown D - the whole game Special Teams: Kickoffs and punts - kick em deep. Field Goals - make em What I want to see out of the team: Play with fire, play with passion, don't roll over, do your best and when all is over (win or lose) be proud of the effort given. Let NDSU know they were in a game!!!

Greetings from the Evil Empire! I was impressed by your SUU win and you folks have roared into the FCS. What are your strengths and weaknesses? I know both Boykin and Lopez are very good. How is your depth? On our side special teams, especially the punting has had its challenges the last two years and the new punter is inexperienced. Because of graduation, the receivers are a question mark as well. The defensive and offensive lines will both rotate 10 players with virtually no dropoff. The defensive ends are very good and we are pretty stacked on the corners and safeties. As far as the linebackers go watch Cox #42. I still don't know how we got him to come to NDSU. We also rotate running backs. With one injured we still will play four. In particular, watch #8 Anderson and #10 Dunn who are both listed one and one on the depth chart. Stick has proven himself, but backup QB's lack experience. If you are making the trip tailgating starts West of the Dome about 9:30ish. You won't have a problem finding it and you will be greeted with all the food and beverages, alcoholic and non, that you can handle. We always welcome visitors. Here is to an injury free game.

Lopez and Boykin are new to us! I'm excited to see the team every game because of someone new I see make a good play.
We're just getting the hang of things, it seems, and it'll be fun for the guys to play with the best before returning to Florence for their first home game.

If only I hadn't lost my $600,0000 lottery ticket I would be up there in a heartbeat! Nothing like road-tripping in college football even if you lose. A little bad luck can get in the way.

If we get 10,000 to our home opener, we will have averaged almost 15,000 for the first three games because the NDSU game will be a sellout or close. I don't believe we averaged 15,000 over a three game stretch before. We had about 16,000 for the NC game in '93 but the attendance for the previous two games weren't nearly as good as they should have been.

I'm not sure how many fans are going to show up to watch us play a school most casual fans hav ed never heard of. Hopefully they will show up just because they have been jonesing for some football........ If we was playing this game at home, sell out.

I hope the game at NDSU is sold out. Our guys are expecting it and have heard all about it. How fun to play in a loud dome. I know our team is looking forward to playing this game.

I can't help you with the bar scene, but there are a number of good places to grab a bite. Chinese, Mandarin Kitchen is really good. Mexican, Mango's Mexican and American Grill and they have excellent margaritas. Spitfire Grill for barbeque is pretty good. Porter Creek Hardwood grill has a variety of good food, but they are on the pricey side. A lot of people like Johnny Carino's for Italian.
