I've never been to 306 BBQ. I'll have to try it out next time. I'm only in town for a couple days when I visit and spend most of it Zip City seeing my mom and family. It's hard for me to pass up my nostalgic faves like (Wright's was my fave - closed last year) Dick Howell's, Bunyan's, Southern, and such. And now Sledge's up in Zip City! So much good "mom & pop" BBQ there. We only have chains in P'cola. It's disappointing every time. I'm a Central guy, and I venture over to Zip City to eat Sledges. There my favorite........Win Wildcats and Roar Lions. I would have thought you would be eating at the Speedy Pig, chomping on the chicken strips and BBQ!

Yay? It’s a strange feeling as a UNA alum/fan. I’m not sure the last time I remember a game that I just “hope we compete” in. Even the times we’ve played Jacksonville State in the last ~15 years, I was confident (and we DID beat them in 2003 - the same year we came to your rivals in Grand Forks and laid an absolute egg in the semifinals, sigh). Some of my board mates may think this is heresy by acting like we don’t have a chance, but I’m a realist. I DO expect us to look better than I thought we might before the season started... but ultimately I’m pretty sure the Bison will have too much for us. I’d love to see us make a game of it for 3+ quarters. Think your team/fans maybe be looking at this a little differently than 3 weeks ago, since we started 2-0? I have several family connections to the Tide, so I follow them quite a bit and see a lot of similarities between the two programs. As good as Bama has been, they’ve still had some slip ups over the years. Hope we’re the recipients of one of those rare occasions next Saturday

UNA has done a good job of protecting the ball. We didn’t play our best game on defense Saturday, yet only gave up 20 on the road in a hostile environment. I hope NDSU has a white out....so far we are undefeated in two white out games. The goal line stand on defense was very impressive. The defensive backs are not really out of position, just not making plays on the ball so far. We have to snag some of the 50-50 type passes. Is this the game Chris Johnson makes his ballhawking skillls known? Does a running back for North Alabama actually score a TD? Does Byrd continue to prove he is one the most electric players in the state? How about our punter? Phenomenal job punting the other team in a hole. Hoping for a great clean football without injuries.

Any odds announced yet on this game? My guess would be NDSU -28 or so. I think we’re still a bit of an unknown. I’m not saying they’ll beat us by 4 TDs (I hope not), but I just don’t think most FCS folks know what we are yet.

Here's our game with Cal Poly for your viewing pleasure. Dang. Not much of a game. Poor Cal Poly. 1-10 last season and have to start in Fargo. And, a nightmare scenario with their QB going down.

Great little restaurant, for sure.

Hey Lions! Bizon fan coming in peace. Looking forward to playing an old DII foe. Us upstarts have to stick together. Hoping for a injury free game for both sides. Are your first two games posted anywhere? I haven't been able to find the full games.

Are your first two games posted anywhere? I haven't been able to find the full games. Probably not posted. You may be able to find a replay of the SUU game on Pluto TV. Good luck finding the Alabama A&M game. We have no beef with Bizon fans, feel free to talk freely on our board, yall have had our respect for a long time, and hopefully, after this weekend, we may have the NDSU faithful respect, even with what is inevitable to happen. We are looking to yall as a measure to see how far off we are from where we want to be, we will not be satisfied just competing for conference championships in the Big South, we want to dominate it, and give the playoff all it can handle every year, oh yeah, and whoop East Alabama Red hens in the process. Looking forward to watching (hopefully) a competitive game Saturday. Roar Lions
