I figured they guys would get better and better, but they seem to be going backward. They aren't playing very tough, they have talent but no physicality. And the girls should be dominant, but they are dropping games too. What needs to change?

I think the girls have a bright future. I hate to say it but I no longer have any hope for the boys future under the current circumstances.

Those triplets saved the women's team and probably her job.
I hate to say it, but it's pretty much time for Coach C to be replaced. This up-and-down roller coaster isn't going to cut it in DI.

I hate to say it too, I like the guy, but when you continue to lose games you should win, it's time to cut ties. With the talent we have, top 2 in the conference should be a given. A run at a NC shouldn't be that far fetched.

After watching the Delta State game, I think she is putting too much on the shoulders of them. 90% of the shots taken was from Emma Wallen. (I think) it kinda like she tells them that they are the only ones that should shoot the ball. I know they are a young team, but you can't depend on a couple of freshman to carry the load. If you spread it out, it will make them even more effective.

I don't think she's a very good coach. Not trying to be rude but the talent is carrying this year.
The men. Sigh. I don't know. Talented but mediocre record.

I agree, I think it's time to part ways and try to find 2 good coaches to take us into D1 before they go under a "safe period" during the transition and totally screw up recruiting. If that happens it's going to be a crappie few years after the transition. If it is played right, I would like to see us start a rivalry with UAB in all sports, especially Basketball and baseball. I would also like for UAB to drop football to the FCS and join the A-Sun and Big South too. But that's a pipe dream.

Champ is stability (mediocre, but stable). He either needs to be gone after this season or keep him for the entirety of the transition. Tiber's job was probably saved but this season. I just don't know if I think making a change during the transition is a good idea. Maybe it is.

Well, at least both qualified for the GSC tournament this year. Which, should never be in question but it has been in previous seasons for both teams. I was thinking last night that if Linder replaces Tiber, he should go after the LCHS coach Brant Llewellyn. He inherited a dynasty, but his record since then proves he's the real deal like Sinyard was. He'd also draw some of those talented players (like the triplets) to UNA. Also, his wife is the Wilson head coach. www.ahsfhs.org/sports/yearlygirlsbasketball.asp?team=Lauderdale%20County

It may be time to ditch Champagne.

It may be time to ditch Champagne. Yes, before he gets a 4 year grace period during the transition. I say offer UAHs head coach a job. He seems to have it going good over there.
