Both coaches need to go after tonight. So what exactly happened in the women's game? And yes both need to go. Let's offer a current GSC coach a job, I would think it would think we could get UAHs coach for the men. Don't know who for the women, don't really keep up with basketball coaches.

Disappointed and disgusted with both of those games.

Need to let Linder know our feelings about the Coaches. I let him know about two weeks ago. I didn't suggest they should be dismissed I gave reasons why they shouldn't be the coach.

I'm not sure if the UAH Coach would still be interested or not. He applied when Bill Jones retired and also when Gary Elliott retired.
On the Women's side Llewelyn applied when Wayne Byrd retired. I don't believe he has applied since. So he just might want to stay with high school.

I know that Mark will listen, don't know if he will do anything. I have emailed him on several occasions and he promptly gets back with me. If enough people start bugging him, I'm sure he will do somthing. Of all the games I have watched this year, even when we win, we look terrible. That's all coaching, on both teams.

I think attendance, or lack there of, should be the loudest voice in his ear. I wouldn't doubt the girls drew more than the boys this season. Of course that wouldn't take much.

At two of the games there were more there at half time of the women's game than for the men on that particular day. Those Tripets have a following ones that been following them through high school. Probably after the Women's game anywhere from 150 up to probably around 300 or more left before the men starting playing.

I'll admit, not a huge basketball guy, but I do realize that it needs to at least be successful to make the D1 transition as smooth as possible. Someone needs to offer the guy a contract he can't refuse. If JSU is in the NCAA, we need to be pushing for NIT ASAP when eligible or we will have a hard time getting quality recruits from north Alabama. We have to own the area from Birmingham to Tennessee in all sports.

I just finished my letter to Linder about replacing both coaches. We shall see if he hears from enough alumni to make some changes.

I'm not hearing a public out cried on changing coaches. We need people talking not only on athletic boards but out in the general public and I'm not hearing it. Contact the Ad, the President. Start talking about a change needs to take place when out in the public. Letters to the Editor of the papers. The daily paper has a sound off where you don't have to leave your name if enough people call that might get someone's attention.

Good idea, I don't think Missy will be let go just because of this year being a huge turnaround. But Champaign needs to go now.
