UNA is the fastest growing University in the state... Florence is part of the Huntsville media market... Huntsville is now the biggest city in the state and the fastest growing... UNA’s media coverage by the Huntsville stations is certainly a huge advantage over programs like Jacksonville State which is in a bit of no man’s land media-wise.

Speaking to a corporate manager for the Trash Pandas this is a one time thing. She said they will not be allowed to play another football game there again. So make sure you go to this one, it will be the last football game at Trash Pandas stadium for anyone. Glad we will have that history and hopefully be the only football team to win there.

If it makes money for them, why would they not want to allow it again? That being said, if the grass there is natural, I could see that being one headache. I haven't been to a game there, but I assume it's natural grass? Still, doesn't make sense to just do this as a one-off and proclaim before the game is even played that it'll never happen again.

The way I was understanding it was they would add seats. They have a pro soccer team supposed to start playing in 23. And they will move Huntsville city schools to that stadium for football.

Actually she and the staff appear to be very excited about the football game. I believe if it was up to them they would gladly do it again. The decision did not seem to be up Trash Pandas.

Interesting! Wonder if any folks from A&M and/or UAH were maybe upset about us playing in “their” city and complained to the right people? I’ve been curious how those groups feel about this ever since the game was announced.

I know the city of Florence and a very prominent booster for UNA is not happy with this move... Taking the largest revenue game for the city of Florence away probably pissed off several people high up in the City of Florence politics
