Weird to go a Saturday during the season without a game. Men and women both play at NJIT tomorrow. Women at noon, men at 3 PM.
Both teams have a tough schedule over the next few games. Sure would be nice to get out of New Jersey with a couple of wins. But, it’s hard to beat a team twice. I’m guessing this will be a couple of hard-fought games.

If the women play their game, they should win hands down.
Men need to play as good as they can to have a chance. I think NJIT looked past us a little in game 1.

Lions open with five straight 3's. Lead by 8 at the end of the 1st.

I’ve easily heard Coach Tiber a few times... I wonder if we swap the seats next year? Move general admission to the side facing the camera? I assume we didn’t this year because a.) I believe reserved seating had previously been on that side (correct me if I’m wrong), and b.) they didn’t want the folks with reserved seats to have to dodge the camera platform.

The WEC is a nice facility, though. Cool to see some of their men's team watching this game.

I have never heard anything about dodging the camera platform. Yes you are correct the Reserved Sportsman Club has alrways been on that side. Also until around 12 years ago the players bench was also on that side. During timeouts several people decided to go to restrooms or the concession stand and the opposition coaches started complaining about people walking by their team and former AD Joel decided to move the players bench to the opposite side. After the remodeling it was decided to move the players bench back to that side. The Sportsman Club Members had a choice on what side they wanted to sit on. The majority of its members decided to be on the opposite side. At that time they decided to move the Students to behind the players been. They have a few seats reserved for visiting team. I believe that all of the seating on that side other than the students section is reserved. I know that if students are in the section outside of the particular student section they make the students move.

And funny you mention the benches. It didn’t even dawn on me that they had moved until you said that. As as for the camera platform, upstairs on the general admission seating it blocks the walkway. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m not sure what else could be done.

I predicted this would be a hard-fought game. I’m not wrong very often, but hey, I guess it can happen.

A decisive win by the Lions. Great post-game interview by Coach Tiber with the NJIT broadcast crew.

I see NJIT's Pep Band is ready to go! I also noticed a group of what looked to be a youth team in the stands with NJIT shirts on.
