The Lions won't face them for a few weeks but I'm watching them host Texas A&M.
The refs are definitely letting them play. I can't believe the amount of "fouls" not being called.

Just saw them tackle an A&M guy. They called it, but they had to. Also seeing them push players into screens, no calls on that. Hope Coach P is watching that, great atmosphere though.

Interestingly, in our game against St Louis the announcers mentioned the refs we're letting them play. Wonder if that is a thing prior to getting into conference play?

Good chance we will be playing the number 1 team in all the land pretty soon. Would be cool to play #1 in football and basketball in our first season of DI.

We need to be a force on the boards and at least shoot on the offensive end. We can’t just keep turning the ball over without scoring opportunities. We will get exposure, just hope our effort and intensity are there after a very start.

It's got to be frustrating for them. But they need to know that the fans understand and support them... when conference play begins, and we ain't playing NAIA and D2 games at home, hopefully fans will start showing up. I plan on going to a few.

Thanks for posting! From the SB Nation article. Meet the opponentNorth Alabama Lions, 3-10, KenPom #325The Lions are one of the shortest teams in basketball, and by all accounts, this game should get really ugly, really fast. Center Cameron Diggs stands tall at 6’9, power forward Kendall Stafford is just 6’4, winger Christian Agnew is 6’2, two-guard Jamari Blackmon is 6’0 and point guard Kendarius Smith is 5’10. For perspective, Gonzaga guard Zach Norvell is 6’5. That isn’t going to stop players from getting their buckets, however. Blackmon leads the team at 16.2 points per game, shooting a somewhat astonishing 31.7 percent from the floor in the process. The man has never seen a shot he didn’t like, and unfortunately, many of those shots don’t find the net.

The SB writer isn't wrong. Yet, even being a homer, I know that if we shoot the lights out and they don't - the Lions could get some headlines tonight and tomorrow.
It would be nice to have a competitive game and not a blowout. We'll see.
Anyone know my Matic only played one minute last game? He was raining threes a few games back.
