What a wild drive. Weaver and Lopez lined up at the same time on both 3rd downs.

I like what we are seeing out of Chris Weaver. Looks like we have a backup QB we can depend on. I’m curious to see what he can do against “normal” competition

And that’s why the Bizon are a lot like Bama. They take one “5-star” player out, and put in a freshman that’s just as talented.

Hopefully any injuries are minor. Dont know what I was expecting, but I feel like a cleaner game out way and we could hav ed made a game out of it. I (if we are healthy) dont see another loss on the schedule. Proud of the team for playing hard. We will be seeing them again in the near future.

Beat the spread and didn’t get shut out. Held Bison to 24 points in their place. Proud of our defense. I know they had 38, 14 was not on the defense. 17-0 at the half and we helped with that a lot. The next time we play NDSU the game will be a little more evenly matched and hopefully mean something. I do not see NDSU going anywhere, except maybe FBS if they wanted? Future for NDSU looks bright, good team and coaching staff. Really only the fumbles they need to clean up from today...recovered two of those back. Our defense should have helped their offense get better. Their defense should have helped our offensive line.

Things to improve on...sure. Things to be embarrassed about...not really. Things to hold your head high about.. .several. No W but but a good learning experience and quite possibly one of the better challeges NDSU will face this year. We will see but it wouldn't surprise me. ROAR LIONS!!!

The Lions are a gritty team that's only going to get better. The Bison depth hurt you in the 2nd half. It was nice to see your star receiver that was dinged up early in the game come back and score the TD. The QB, Weaver?, that replaced Lopez looks to be a good one. Lopez is gonna be sore tomorrow. The kid took a beating! Also, your punter is solid.
UNA has a bright future and best of luck the rest of the season and throughout your transition period. I know that Bison Nation will be pulling for and keeping tabs on you guys. Much respect! Eat em up Lions!

Thanks, our (in my opinion) most dynamic receiver came out early in the game and never returned. Congrats on the win, first class program up there, and first class people.

Good team effort. Mistakes were disapointing but they always are. The 4th and two decision was baffling. The big guy never laid a hand on an opponent. Really would have liked to have seen Riko Morris when we were still in the game instead of late 4th quarter.

I’ve been to a lot of college football games/tailgates never have I ever been part of a better atmosphere or kinder people. UNA fans can learn a lot from Bison fans. I hope Linder will try to put the Bison on our schedule again in a few years. Thanks to the Bison nation for the kindest hospitality. They say southern hospitality ...seriously North Dakota hospitality is head a toes above. We have a lot to learn in Florence from the Bison nation...oh the game. Lots of mistakes but defense played an incredible game..and we finally put points on the board.
Bison nation come south and we’ll try our best to reciprocate.
Glad we are home next week!

Which receiver are you talking about? Boykin? I thought that's who got hurt, but returned.
