So who’s job is it to go in and change the Athletic Division?

I think it's just random people. I don't know what I'm doing. Every time I change it, someone else erased it.

I used to edit Wikipedia for fun (yeah, I’m weird). But that was probably 10+ years ago. I can’t even remember what my login is for it. Funny though, a picture I took and uploaded is still used on the Florence page.
As of almost 3 ET, it still hasn’t been updated. At this pace I may have to break down and do it myself haha.
FWIW, the “Athletics” portion of the main page on there could also use some updating, along with the actual athletics page it links to. All still talk about us being D2. Plus the logo could be updated with the old gold version that says North Alabama instead of UNA.
That’s another thing. Anybody else think they are pushing “North Alabama” moreso than in the past? I’m not surprised if so. The D2 world mostly knew who UNA was, but I guess with the transition it makes more sense to actually say North Alabama. It still always sounds a little off to me, though.

Dang, you did it while I was typing my response. That’s what I get for being my typical long-winded self!

One of our recent commits was excited about coming to Northern Alabama.
Will Soucie @soucie33 Jun 25
Extremely excited and grateful to receive a Division 1 offer from Coach Pujol and the University of Northern Alabama 🦁 #GoLions
Will Soucie, a class of 2020, 6-5 wing player for the NJ Shoreshots, just picked up an offer from Northern Alabama. He's 15 or 16 and will be a high school sophomore. He's already grinding on the outdoor city courts which means he could bring that Chris Mullen-type grit.

Eh, I’m not too concerned with a 16 year old getting our name wrong. I’ve seen plenty of “University of Auburn” tweets and the like. Kids that age aren’t exactly known for their attention to detail. Now, professional writers that can’t do the proper research? They deserve as much ridicule as you can throw at them.
