I'm generally of the feeling that most change is good. What I don't think is positive is uncertainty. I hope we can form a plan soon and get Lion Nation on the same page.

Wow. The stadium at UWG is great. What are immediate upgrades or future upgrades we can make to bring Braly into the DI world? I think major upgrades in facilities are certainly 'defining moments'.

We should make it a horseshoe by connecting the East and West stand with a semi circle of seats in the South endzone!!

I like the idea of a major Braly renovation, but where's the beef? $$$

A major upgrade is a great idea. However, realistically the university would need to own the stadium first. The city went so far as to agree to the turf, and a minimal but new scoreboard. To make major improvements the school needs ownership. Then you need to look at what other D1 schools have. Skyboxes for major donors, even at the D2 level one of the local schools offers major contributors a meal served either before the game or during halftime, and the game is telecast in the dining room so it can be viewed if the meal runs long. Usually the coach drops in as the locker room is in the same building, plus the dining room has a picture window which looks out onto the field.
There is also a parking deck there since it is on-campus.
Increasing the size of Brally by making a horseshoe or bowl is fine, but parking, better seating, better video capability need to come first. Jax State has the highest attendance in the OVC and don't fill 16,000 seats, I would think that getting some portable bleachers for students or the bands in the endzones would be fine if stadium size was an issue, until ther was parking, and the stadium purchase was covered, and all the fees and costs of moving up were covered for a few years.
