Unlike football, all other sports will have a conference schedule for year 1. Non conference we know we have Troy scheduled, don't know the particulars, I'm sure we will keep A&M on the schedule, we have been playing them regularly lately. Looking at schedules around the state in D1, looks like all the D1 schools in Alabama like to schedule each other every year in baseball. So with that being said I think we can look forward to seeing Alabama, Auburn South Alabama, JSU, UAB and Bama St. as well. I would like to see a beginning of the year Alabama baseball tournament with all D1 schools.
(Didn't mean to leave out Samford.)

Reckon Troy needs to be thrown into the mix also.

Hold on I see you have Troy already thrown in. I should do a better job of reading.

A neutral site tournament that rotates to a different city in the state would bring nice exposure to all schools.
Regionally, because travel distance is not great, I could envision Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Vandy easily being on our schedule.

Regionally, because travel distance is not great, I could envision Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Vandy easily being on our schedule. I imagine several SEC and ACC schools are being talked to. A rotating tournament would be good. I would love to see a new baseball stadium built before long at UNA. What we have now is okay, but it looks severely incomplete, and since we say we want to compete with JSU, Troy and USA we desperately need to upgrade. JSU is building a very nice stadium, Troy has a nice facility as well. Don't have to move the field, just build a nice, modern stadium around it. Should not be hard to raise the money. Willingham's name can do a lot.

Kinda thinking, if a rotating site tournament happened, I would use 3 places, Montgomery Biscuits stadium, Birmingham Barons Stadium, and the New stadium that will be in Madison.
That insures that parking, and facilities will handle it, and that every 3rd year, travel will be minimized for fans in that region.
Montgomery will have USA, Troy and Bama St. fans.
Birmingham will have UA, AU, Samford and UAB fans (part of JSU as well)
Madison will have UNA, A&M, and the other part of JSU fans.

I know the folks in Madison would be very happy to be a part of that rotation. Could have something like a Governor's Cup or some such for the winner. I like it!
