Mark Hudspeth fired by Louisiana-Lafayette after a 5-7 season... Link
Hard to believe he had already been there 7 years. He seemed to be doing pretty well at the beginning there, I know they made a few bowl games. Wonder what caused it to fall apart? I’m guessing Hud will find work somewhere as an offensive coordinator. Wonder how this affects Will Hall, who was OC there this past season? Does this take the shine off him somewhat, right or wrong? I know his name has still been floated for a few jobs (South Alabama for example).

Not surprised this happened. I look at their forums and it's not been good there for a while.
And, no about Will Hall. Offense (even with injuries) was the only bright spot on the team this year. Although, not last night.

Although, not last night. Hope that’s true for Will. Though I wonder if a few more years as an FBS coordinator might be good for him. I’m not sure the USA job works out, but a Sun Belt school will probably take a chance on him down the line. Speaking of former QBs, Akron had a decent year, making their conference championship game (though losing). AJ Milwee is still the OC there. Unfortunately it looks as if they were 103rd in FBS in total offense this year (ouch). I honestly haven’t kept up with them at all this year, so I don’t know if there were any factors in being ranked that low.
