Hampton University a current member of the MEAC will move all of their sports including football to the Big South.

Interesting. Hampton is an historically black college. I know Tennessee State is part of the OVC, but I can't think of many other HBCs that have made the move to a conference outside the MEAC/SWAC. Of course, I haven't kept up with FCS as much over the years so I'm probably forgetting a school or two.
Hampton is 5-5 this year, but two of those losses are to FBS schools. I'm not sure how the high school football is in that part of Virginia, but they are not very far from two large metros in Richmond and DC. I would say that from a football standpoint they probably have the potential to do more for the conference than Presbyterian.

Absolutely, I wonder if this will push Bama St. or A&M or maybe both to join the A-Sun/Big South deal? There was talk about it a month or so ago.

Great news! UNA played Hampton in the D2 playoffs a couple of times back in the day.
