At halftime all the GSC teams are winning, and Commerce is leading in the 1st.

That really didn't surprise me. GSC is super strong this year. I am pulling for all them.

We had the strongest schedule in D2 this year without a doubt. No one could have said anything if we would have made the playoffs. Imho.

We had the strongest schedule in D2 this year without a doubt. No one could have said anything if we would have made the playoffs. Imho. I know it’s been said on here, but the strength at the top of the GSC is comparable, IMO, to a lot of FCS teams. It makes me cautiously optimistic about us getting through these transition years without suffering TOO much - though we certainly aren’t shying away from playing the best of the FCS. The biggest difference the next couple of years will not necessarily be the starting 22, but the depth that some of these teams will have. I’ll fully admit to being a bit more of a pessimist than some. I’m hoping to see us keep at least a .500 record the next couple of years, and maybe pull off an upset or three along the way. Hopefully towards the end of our “probationary” period we’ll be battling Kennesaw at the top of the conference. I definitely see them being our biggest challenge once we are eligible for championships and the playoffs again.
