Either way, the issue has to be resolved by the end of the current contract with the City. I honestly believe UNA will be in a bran new on campus stadium that seats 20k+ by the time we are competing for conference championsips. Probably somthing named after Bobby Wallace and similar design as A&Ms stadium (without the track)

I love Braly. Just need to get the City out of the way.

Didn't realize til I read the TD yesterday that Cale turned down an offer to buy the property in the recent past. Looks like the current President thinks differently, but it's probably too late.
I think this will play into UNA building a new stadium.

UNA needs to build a new stadium. I think they will get started on it ASAP and it should be ready by the time we are full Big South members. If not, we will be so far behind it won't be funny. The city will not allow logos on the field, and every time UNA has mentioned upgrading the stadium, the City votes no, unless it was the bare minimum for the championship game. So I vote build new stadium, name it after Bobby Wallace, and it doesn't have to be on campus.

I see on D2MB that folks are saying most likely it would be on Waterloo Road or Cox Creek Parkway. I think Cox Creek has better accessibility for traffic.
It will be interesting to see how all of this turns out. Lots of changes on the horizon.

Kinda like going to D1 couldn't happen.

Surprising and kinda weird. I wonder how this will affect things for UNA.

Well, it seems since she has been let go, at least they are entertaining UNA offer to buy the property. I hope it means that the stadium is included. This in the short term is the best situation for UNA, we are under contract to stay at Braly till 2022 I think, and it will buy time to see if building a new stadium is feasible in the future.
