It's going to be a tough task, but I think the Lions can do it!

I'll be watching online.
The past two games were great and I expect this one will be, too.

We went in 2013 and we are coming to cheer this team onto victory. We are older and have what looks to be a stronger defense than we did in 2013. I expect us to create some turnovers and control both line of scrimmages. We have bigger backs too. Roc will make some good plays and likely give us some issues. He typically puts the ball on the ground and gets hurt after couple of spins and takes a shot. We will be ready. I expect a close game...they have a lot of talent. Lions take it. 27 to 23. Roar Lions!

Wingo to Mayhall was fun to watch in 2013 against the Gamecocks.
This season we need Tucker and Hall to show off in Jacksonville!

I think the Gamecocks are going to be suprised. Not saying we will win, but I gotta feeling. Just Wallace's attitude this season, he seems extremely confederate.

Coaches seem ready for this season. I like the new additions to the coaching staff. I also like the new additions to fill a couple of holes. If the oline can get some push for all these running backs...fun year. Our receivers should blow by quite a few people. If not, throw it up, 6 foot 4 is taller than most defensive backs.

Atomic Football says that UNA is looking at a defeat by three touchdowns.

Backs up the reason I have not heard of Atomic Football. I am sure we are listed as the underdog. We were in 2013 with our young team...and almost. We are hoping for results better than almost this time around with our stud linebackers and dline to go along with this secondary. Should be fun.

I think UNA has a shot at the upset, mainly because the Lions return so many starters that played together last year and some several years. The first game of the year can be tricky for teams with several new players on the roster and JSU has a few of them.

If the Lions play up to potential without mistakes, they have a real shot at taking this one. The Gamecocks will undoubtedly come in over-confident after almost winning it all in FCS last season. With the exception of losing a couple of starters for the season, the Lions will be more healthy for this game than for any game the rest of the season. I look for some of the new players to really be fired up!
Sean Fuimaono said he hasn’t played in a big stadium yet. “In junior college we would fit a couple hundred people in, but here they are talking about thousands. I’m excited to get back on the field and feel that rush again.”
“It’s always exciting to play against a top-tier team,” Dorsey Norris said. “I’m just excited to play again. At first I wondered why this was happening to me last year, but it was a blessing in disguise.
I'm sure many more will be fired up to be on the "Big Stage" for a change. Let's just hope they aren't so amped up that they make mistakes or collapse by halftime.

Less than a week away!!
Wouldn't it be fun to win over the Gamecocks and them get fired up enough to upset LSU the next week?!!

With a better first quarter this would have been a much different game. Thought it might be the opposite (staying close until the 4th). UNA actually held their own in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Quarters.
