We didn’t get Forrest involved in those early conference games. The ball has to got to go through him. Our guards are ok, not the best outside shooters, so when you got an easy two take the two. Howell has also come alive and Smith appears to be playing with more confidence. Having that length and scoring ability is big. We definitely need to have Lane shoot the last free throws, KJ seems to struggle at the line. Forrest didn’t get his own self involved in those games because of foul trouble. The one thing about this team is it takes all of them to contribute for wins to happen.

Here is something I didn’t realize…..long list….but Soucie is shooting free throws this year at 96%. Get him the rock at the end of the game to ice it. Next……Howell rocking free throws at 92%. Then Lane comes in at 81%.

Lady Lions are not playing like a 9 win team. Jacksonville is playing like a team with 6 wins. Ball movement has been better on offense the last few games and those open looks are falling. Confident play for the Lions resulting in wins! Roar Lions!

The women are up by 21 at the half doubling up Jacksonville 42-21. Callins has several 3's and the Lions went on a 9-0 run to finish the half.

Found a way to finish for the win. Whew that lull was a little dicey.

Well, that was some of the ugliest basketball ever played for one half. LOL. But, the Lions are up by 3 at the half.

Men up 28-25 at the half. A low scoring affair so far.

Also of note, it's a very decent crowd who have been involved during certain exciting parts of the game so far. I really like where they've moved the Pep Band (behind the goal). They are much more noticeable on the broadcast and very into the game!

What a boring game….another blowout by the men. Ha. Found a way to survive……big time come back down 6 so late and making the plays and how about KJ. He must have read his free throw percentage needed to improve and he did that tonight.

They are much more noticeable on the broadcast and very into the game! I noticed the band more than once and thought maybe they were doing a better job of mic’ing them. Didn’t realize (or never saw them) that they had moved.
