Here's an interesting tweet I just came across. Looks like the ASUN may be getting serious about having a neutral site tournament.
If it's me, I'm trying to find a tourist-driven location that people will want to go to for more than just basketball. I don't think any team in the conference travels particularly well. But if you could find a site to make the ASUN "home", like the SoCon has done with Asheville, more fans might start to make plans to go each year. Somewhere along the Gulf Coast would be an obvious choice, but places like Savannah or the Pigeon Forge area (not sure they have an arena?) would also be interesting choices, IMO.

I’d suggested this place on a thread earlier this year.

They have been talking about it for a while now...
I bet basketball will end up in the Atlanta area, or a smaller city close to ATL...
I do know they are planning on neutral site for baseball as well, Madison (Toyota Field) and Birmingham (Rickwood Field) have both been discussed. As much as I would love to dive to Madison and watch the tournament, I would like to see Rickwood have that tournament to help out their mission and I love the history of the place...

I guess Atlanta is a fine compromise, and probably the most centrally-located place that also has facilities capable of hosting the tournament. I just get tired of driving to or through there, haha. If I lived there I'd have to take the MARTA. I couldn't sit in that traffic every day.
I don't know if Savannah even has an arena capable of hosting the tournament, but I've decided I'd really like to see it there. We've visited a couple of times now. It's definitely the type of place I'd be happy to go for a week to catch a few games.
If not those places, I think Andy needs to convince them to go to Pensacola.
