UNA announced they are staying with Adidas. Contract has been extended through 2026-27 season. Guess we will remain with only half of our school colors….

I'd love for someone in the athletic department to explain to me why we couldn't just copy Washington's uniforms. Maybe "copy" is the wrong word, but their colors are perfect. Throw the lion head on those helmets and it would be my ideal football uniform for us.

Was told again yesterday at the athletic club luncheon that they are still working on the right color of Gold for the university as a whole.
Apparently athletics using Vegas Gold and the University using more of a yellow Gold is a problem in marketing.
I have also got wind that the ASUN is about to sponsor Esports as a conference sport, they have already contacted UNAs club Esports team and are about to transition it into athletics. Why does that matter? They use the University logo not the sports logos. So they would also have to move to athletics logos and colors.
This iteration of the logos will not have Gold in them, in a few years when they refresh it, they are saying it will be incorporated.

Our "gold" has been everything from Vegas, to yellow, to something the color of cheddar cheese over the years. So if they are taking the time to figure out what we need to look like for the next 50 years, I can handle a few years of purple and white... I guess. The fact remains, they should've figured that out BEFORE just eliminating all gold from the uniforms. Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that. ESPECIALLY with all the other purple and white teams in the ASUN/WAC conferences. Thanks for asking about it, Brandon. We certainly need to continue letting them know that we fans are not happy about this change. BTW, even though it isn't my favorite shade of "gold", I have always liked that logo you're using as your avatar.

We didn't use it as much as we could have in my opinion. I think baseball used it for a year or two.
