What sport at UNA will produce next professional athlete?

Is there a player on our roster that stands out enough to make it in the LPGA,MLB, NBA, NFL, NWLS, PGA?

As a division 1 athletic program it is a must for us to recruit and develop players. If we want to compete at a high level in division 1, we must produce from within our programs high level players. Curious to see your current list of potential professional athletes at North Alabama?

Hoping as we move away from transition we can start having football guys get invited to training camps, get drafted, etc. I’d say baseball probably has the best shot based off the number of rounds and the talent we can get from North Alabama/Tennessee.

Is Chris Johnson the safety the last professional?

Tyler Joyner was up to AAA with Orioles at the end of last year. He’s been hurt and on the DL so far this year. Could see him get a call up if he gets back and does well. Orioles are over 20 games out and it’s not even July 1, I imagine they’ll be trying a lot of prospects out late in the year.
