Does anyone know the details of this agreement than what has been public announced?
Is there a set time limit? What if an Conference wanted to withdraw? If the Big South wanted to add several teams that have football could that possibly limited how many football playing schools the ASUN could add.

Does anyone know the details of this agreement than what has been public announced? Is there a set time limit? What if an Conference wanted to withdraw? If the Big South wanted to add several teams that have football could that possibly limited how many football playing schools the ASUN could add. I never heard mention of a time limit. And the way I understood the agreement is that as long as the ASun does not sponsor football, and scholarship school that plays FCS ball has a football home in the Big South as long as the boarder a state in the Big South footprint.(I will address that issue in a moment) So if any ASun school has or wants FCS scholarship football, they will play in the Big South. If the ASun adds a school that plays scholarship ball, the play in the Big South. There is no set number of schools any conference can have playing football. The only issue I have is, if the ASun decides to add a school in Texas for example, they cant play in the Big South. But Monmouth can... My idea would be to have a separate from each conference, football only conference. Where the football schools have complete control over what the direction of the conference should be.
