Thanks for linking that! I find it interesting that our schedule strength, at least by the measure they use, is still below the average strength for the conference. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if our three home games against non-D1 schools are enough to drag it that far down. That being said, perhaps some of the bigger-name schools we scheduled aren't quite as good as we might think. For example, I didn't realize just how bad Pittsburgh was last year (8-24, which got former Vandy coach Kevin Stallings fired). If the improvement we saw from Samford to the game against St. Louis was no fluke, we might manage to steal a win or two from the non-con schedule that we wouldn't have expected. Regardless, I think our schedule is tough enough, and it's definitely better than filling it up with as many cream puffs as possible to score some hollow wins.
