I watched the whole game last night and that was the best effort and play I have seen during my UNA fandom. If Champagne was our coach we lose that game by 30-40. It's really refreshing seeing our basketball team play hard for 40 minutes. We aren't gonna win very many games this year due to inexperience via coaching and players but we have a lot to look forward too in the coming years. I just wish Youngblood was a freshman, kid can ball and goes 110% the whole game. (He does get out of control sometimes) RMFL I agree, but I think we win more than I thought a week ago. I can already see tremendous improvements. Last night, if a few shots that had just bounced out would have fallen, I believe momentum would have gone out way and maybe a win to follow. I'm looking forward to beating Eastern Alabama and suprising a lot of ASun schools. I dont think we finish 9th like predicted.

Team looked good and played with heart. Becoming very impressed with Pujols. The man is totally engaged In the game and I think his team picks up on it and draws energy from it.

We have some talent and this year will show recruits that UNA will be competitive. The 2nd half we missed a few opportunities as young teams do. Two years from now we may pull that game out. We have a lot of players learning exactly what a D1 player in their position looks like. Enjoy the ride, another big one on coming on Saturday.
