Interesting game....both teams coming off Homecoming wins. Hal Mumme is no longer the offensive coordinator at JSU. JSU quarterback Hayes is a dual threat quarterback. At 6 foot and 190Ibs., he helped JSU get their offense revived. Similar opponent in Alabama A&M and a very tight game. A&M won 21-16. The FG kicker for JSU is very good. Our defense must find a way to stop the splash plays. Offense needs to come out with the same explosive firepower as last week. We have to find a way to score in the third quarter...we struggle every third quarter.

Dad’s birthday so I am out, will definitely listen to the game. Really isn’t a bad road trip, should be fun for those who are entertaining the idea of going. Decent kickoff time so not too early or too late for traveling. As much as I enjoy home games, I enjoy road games even more. Y’all cheer them on to victory like we did in Huntsville! We win this one and post a winning record for the year against FCS competition. I think 7-3 would be a very respectable year. I was off in my prediction last week by 3 or 4 points in the margin victory. I said a 20 or 21 point victory, 17 was pretty close. This week on the road in our final FCS game I like the Lions 27 to 13.

Its pretty much a strait shot from my house down the Natchez Trace to Jackson. A little over 4 hours. Hopefully it will be a nice cool day for a 2 o'clock kick.

Crowd expected to be over 25,000 for the game. Stadium holds 44,000. Hopefully our team will be excited to play in front of the large crowd before the bye week. Exciting game for both sides. Our oline has to hold up against the stout dline of JSU. Also the running attack for JSU will be a lot to handle.

Great news for those wondering.....the team is traveling down on Friday. We seemed to focus more on the game and the unity from being together the night before can only help the team.
