Below is just a few of the comments from after the game Saturday night from the Times daily. After the game Coach Willis talked about players and coaches and if things didn’t change he would be making some changes before the next game. Also he mentioned about the Azusa Pacific coach that put hands on one of the players, has anyone heard if anything will come from that situation and the coach putting his hands on a player? “I’m glad we won and I’m happy for Chandler because he works so hard and deserves a night like this,” Willis said. “But I don’t like winning games like this. We have not shown any signs of this type of lack of discipline. I addressed it after the game and I’m going to make sure we get it corrected. “We have guys who better figure it out very quickly if they are going to be a part of this program because I’m not going to put up with that. I will remove these people from the program if necessary because I’m not going to win games like that. There will be a lot of changes if this continues.” www.timesdaily.com/sports/college_headlines/una-football-carrera-s-last-play-field-goal-boosts-lions/article_8cacd73c-056f-5c51-88a7-4a1644ba169a.html

For those interested, from my vantage point which was right behind the Azusa Pacific sideline, Yes, their coach put their hands on one of our players, after a cheap shot on one of their players. No excuse for getting physical with a player, afterwards, a other one of our players threw their coach to the ground. It could have ended there, with those penalties, but no, in all the turmoil, all you heard was UNA players and Coached running their mouths, just making the situation worse. It was a bad deal, embarrassing to say the least. As I said before, if it was my team that I was the coach, the rest of the season would not matter, peaple would have been gone immediately.

No UNA player touched any coach on that sideline. The coach grabbed the player and the player jerked away. The coach flopped and threw his papers in the air trying to get our guy ejected. If y’all saw the video of it, it was actually kinda funny because the players behind him were mocking him on how he flailed his arms trying to get the refs to throw a flag

Riko Morris’s play got turned into the refs to see if the targeting penalty will be dropped. But the AP coach is definitely in the wrong for putting his hands on our player
