I am so proud of Damon Cox and his progression from last year. I know the offense had multiple issues last year, but his running may have won the game Saturday night. He makes the long run right after we had lost all momentum. We then get a penalty and back up, who runs back into scoring position? Yep 24 does, without much help, breaks thru first tacklers and gets yards that were not there....he made them on his own. I hope we get the ball 1 and goal from the two or closer, run him till he gets a TD. He is such an unselfish player. He had 99 yards rushing and 3 receiving Saturday night. Over a 100 yards from scrimmage with less than 15 touches. My Feel Good Player of the year on offense is Mr. Cox. Honorable mention is Jakobi Byrd. Who do you have?
On defense so far in limited work it is Marcus Robinson. This guy plays so hard and hustles on every play. He seems to be so happy just to be playing and realizes the privilege of being able to play. The tackle for a loss at NDSU was great and he was so excited. He had another tackle for a loss Saturday night. Sometimes you get depth and play from guys you didn't see coming, like 40. I hope he continues to see playing time, let Dailey get fully healed. Mr. Robinson has stepped in and stepped up at a position of need. My Feel Good Player of the year on defense is Mr. Robinson. Honorable mention is KJ Smith. Who do you have?

Marcus was Arkansas' prize recruit out of Memphis and became a part of this recruiting class: In the past week, the Rebels have garnered commitments from Laquon Treadwell, who is the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 5 overall prospect according to Rivals.com, Marcus Robinson, a three-star linebacker from Memphis and Elijah Daniel, a four-star defensive end according to Rivals.com, but it doesn’t stop there if Ole Miss can land other top prospects they are in on like Robert Nkemdiche, who is the No.1 prospect on all services, Laremy Tunsil, the nation’s top offensive tackle on all services, and Antonio Conner, the No. 2 safety in the country by ESPN, among others.
It's easy to see how young people can get their heads turned and then lose their way. The Rebels loss was our gain and Marcus now seems to be dead set on making things right! Congrats.
I'll go with both kickers. Last season Carrera struggled before turning it around. As a true freshman, Joe Gurley was solid last season with an average punt of just over 38 yards. This season he is averaging almost 41 yards per punt and six punts downed inside the 20 despite some shaky long-snapping.
