It has decent capacity but not nearly enough for the potential crowd UNA-JSU could produce. The coliseum holds more. Boy would THAT bring back a lot of memories for a lot of people on both sides! The Florence/lauderdale coliseum? |

Wow. Did t know it had more seating than Flowers. Though it’s been a LONG time since I’ve been there.

The Florence/lauderdale coliseum? Yes, they played there before Flowers Hall was open The Coliseum holds about 2,800 for basketball. I would think Coffee gym holds maybe 1,200. |

Going by those latest pics, it seems things are really looking nice. The VIP area looks to be an interesting addition. The purple chairbacks on the top are SUCH an improvement over what used to be there. I've said it before, but we would not sit on those bleachers last year because we were afraid our 3 year old would fall through. I'm surprised the University was able to keep them in place for so long without some sort of lawsuit.
I think when this is finished we may not have the biggest arena in the ASUN, but hopefully one of the nicer ones. I'm still curious to see the new scoreboard/video board.

I can’t wait to see it done, those pics look awesome and it barley looks like the old flowers Hall I was so use to.
