Senior Austin Hicks decided to transfer in July, leaving Norwood as the only upperclassmen among the receivers.
“With me being the only senior in the room I really have to step up with my leadership role,” Norwood said. “I have to teach the younger guys the way — and I have to follow it myself. It is a big responsibility, but I’m willing to take on that role to be that leader for them.”
