This should be a great series. I'm really liking the scheduling that is coming out...not just in football. By 2020, we should be getting more D-1 competitive. More so as we go through those years playing the Mocs.

As a Chattanooga resident, I'm pumped! This is great! Now if the Mocs can just return to the losing ways they had for years

This would be the neighborly thing to do. They were either 1-10 or 0-11 the first year I lived here (2008). Then they hired Russ Heusman, who did a really good job and took them to several playoff appearances. But then he left two years ago to be the head man at Richmond. Their new guy, Tom Arth, came from D3. They sort of cratered last year and finished 3-8. I still think a lot of talent is there, but it remains to be seen if Arth can do as well as Heusman. I suppose I like seeing them do well. Finley Stadium is a pretty good place to watch a football game. They actually held the FCS championship game here until a few years ago. I never attended one, but worked downtown and saw a lot of fans pass through on championship weeks. I ran into some Montana fans one year at a restaurant across from my office. They were nice folks. Hope we see that hospitality when we travel up there. Across the street from one end zone is my favorite brewery, Chattanooga Brewing. You can actually see the field from their tables upstairs. Great beer and great food there. Should I start organizing the tailgate now? Other pre-game festivities? Sure would be nice if we could turn at least half the stadium purple. I routinely make the drive between here and the Shoals in 3 hours.

My drive would be 1 hour to the Shoals and 2 hours to Chatty.

About the same transit time for us as tuna85. Plan on making at least one trip for away game, make both home games. Of course I say that and we keep making it to the JSU game.
