So, they announced we're playing NDSU and Alabama A&M. It's also been rumored that we're playing West Florida and Mississippi College.
Anyone else have any scoop on other teams?

What about Texas A&M Commerce and Central Washington. I believe those were for Home and Home and at that time we hadn’t receive an D1 invite.

I don't think we are playing either, I'm pretty positive no Central Washington.
You can look on Miss. College athletics website and look at future scheduling and it shows @una for a couple of years in a row.
I don't mind playing a couple of D2 schools during the transition, but I epu ld like to see a total FCS schedule in the future for a few years. Then start looking for a FBS money game every now and then. (Don't care for that much either) but I think it may be a necessity.

I *thought* there was some sort of rule that after next year, we couldn’t play any D2 teams during the rest of the transition. I’m probably misremembering that, though. If we play Mississippi College in 2019 that proves I’m wrong, I suppose.
It would be nice to add a few of the region’s FCS teams to next year’s schedule. Preferably no more than a couple of D2 games. Though at this point the D2 games might be our only hope of having a few home games. I could see us playing 11 games next year and only having 4 or 5 games at Braly. We could have a much better team next year and still hover around .500.

Yea, I could see that. I do think we will be better than .500, I don't see (outside of the top FCS programs) much talent difference between D2 and FCS, just more depth.

No D2 schools after the 2018-2019 Season for all sports unless the Transition Process is delayed.

No D2 schools after the 2018-2019 Season for all sports unless the Transition Process is delayed. For football that would mean the fall of 2018.

That is just until the transition is over.
Too many FCS schools playing D2 schools to be otherwise.
MC may have had a mistake on their scheduling too.
Like I said, I don't mind playing a D2 school here and there, but after this coming year I don't want it.
We need to be getting JSU on the schedule ASAP. Then get somthinf started with ETSU, Chatty, Central Ark, ect.
We need to start scheduling big in region games that will peak fan interest.

Concur that UNA's schedules should have few to no D2 teams, certainly not after next season.
Time to leave D2 behind, and lean forward.
