Have heard it will become the FCS "kickoff" game for 2024 - like Mercer/UNA last year (week Zero). Two potential sites are Cramton Bowl in Montgomery or refurbished Joe Davis in HSV...Brandon you are the most connected? I honestly haven't heard anything about that game in particular... I have heard they they want to play 1 game a year in Huntsville at the refurbished Joe Davis. Not sure it would be the Kickoff Classic or not... I attended the game in Montgomery and it was stupid hot. What you seen on TV wasn't the majority of the UNA fans... they was mostly sitting under the stands trying to stay in the shade... they was asking like 8 bucks for water... A night game in Huntsville would be a lot better.

Wonder what spring revealed to our staff? Where can we improve through a transfer player on each side of the ball? Are we improved from the end of the season?

These days spring games are more just for the fans to get together and for them to scrimmage one more time. The way we been doing it it's more about having a little fun.

Agree on the spring game, but spring practice and scrimmages hopefully revealed strengths and deficiencies to our staff. Should give the staff an idea of where to go with a few possible transfers before summer and fall camp.

Mercer D tackle transferring home to the good guys. Redshirt freshman Walter Ty Goggins committed to North Alabama a few minutes ago. Roar Lions big guy, looking forward to watching you play.
