Someone asked why our student section don't sit behind the opposing team...
Watching the ACC network this morning and they have a special about Duke, and they mentioned that since something happened at Duke, the NCAA made a rule where student sections can't sit behind the opposing team.
So, there is our answer.

So, there is our answer. That makes sense. Probably too much of a risk for someone to do or say something stupid if they are behind the other team. I dream that one day we redo the "endzone" on the other side from the hospitality suite and have floor seats there for students. If a game is on the line it's nice to have students behind the goal for a distraction when the other team is trying to shoot free throws.

So, there is our answer. That makes sense, and it doesn't apply to football. Do you remember not long ago when they had the students sit on the away side to "make the stadium more full"? It was fun heckling the opposing teams, especially the kicker.

I actually like sitting on that side personally.
