Agree. We had the shot clock run down too low and try and force a shot to beat the clock. I would rather beat the opponent than the shot clock. Lipscomb ran some sweet offensive sets that resulted in easy buckets. Until we get players that make shots from the perimeter I would like to see more set plays on the offensive end. We ran a motion offense that really doesn’t allow anything but outside shots. We were originally going to be a fun and fun type offense with a lot of pace. Teams are allowing us to outpace them, forcing us to play half court game and we are not good at it yet.

He had worked his way into the Nicholls starting lineup but hasn’t played since the new year. Not sure what’s up with that. We miss Mervin James, too. He’s started every game this year at Rider.

And this is where the transfer portal makes no sense to me. I realize we don't have a chance to make the tournament, so I can't necessarily blame these guys for wanting to play their last year or two somewhere else. But I honestly had never heard of Rider. I looked them up - they're in New Jersey, not far from Philly. Maybe he wanted to be in a bigger city? I could understand that, I guess. FWIW Rider was picked to finish 5th in their conference, so not sure the tournament is a realistic possibility. At least for Manny, Nichols was picked to win the Southland. Anyway, probably not fair to those guys to question their motivations, since there could be any number of reasons to leave. It's just frustrating, knowing how much better we could be with them here.

Watching EKU/UNA. Why is the feed overfilling the screen? Can the production fix the resolution?

Watching EKU/UNA. Why is the feed overfilling the screen? Can the production fix the resolution? I've been in touch. They are working with ESPN to fix it. It's the commercials, too. So annoying. EDIT: Well, now the commercials looks normal.

Over 4 minutes without making at FG? Whew, our guys need a coach that can teach them how to shoot. We absolutely cannot score.

We can't win many games when they occur so often. We have them too. It was bad to start the game against Bellarmine. Ours was almost 3 min when UNA got ahead by 10. And we only score 6 the last 6:18. Congratulations on the win.

The only reason we had a chance was we actually used the post tonight. We have failed miserably at that in prior games. Getting 14 points from our big men gave us a chance. We rely on guys to make perimeter shots too much. I hope this win taught us something about our offense. EKU has some thicker built players, y’all will wear down teams this year.

Tonight’s Women’s game against Eastern Kentucky will only have 7 players on the court also Tiber will not bee we on the sidelines.
Reason COVID-19 protocols.
