No game for the women tonight at Lipscomb. The Bisons notified UNA just hours prior to the game that they have COVID issues. At least we didn't lose??? Seriously, hope Lipscomb people get well soon...

The women's team just doesn't have enough size to rebound. JSU is dominant on the offensive boards.

Yep and we can’t miss the wide open layups and easy shots. When we miss the possession is over. JSU can miss three times and still keep possession. We need to start recruiting post players at D1 level.

Women fought to the end losing by 4. Now, it's the tip-off of the men's game!

Look forward to UNA recruiting some D1 offensive players on the mens team. We are hard to watch on the offensive end, no rhythm. Good thing we play hard on defense.

Inside size is where both teams lack that D1 look. It's like we have a bunch of guards with a few forwards. Gamecocks up 28-24 at the half.

JSU is not far ahead of us on talent…our young players need to improve. Ortiz plays young, bad mistakes on both ends. He hopefully will figure it out soon, could be the difference. The post player has a lot of potential, he is super thin like a string bean.

Brim needs to sit. He cannot make a shot and keeps shooting. JSU is the only ones happy about it.

Brim is 2-13 so far. Yikes. Chapman having a rough shooting night also. Well, most of the team really. Only 34% right now with about 7 mins left.

1-10 shooting won’t get it done at home. We are terrible on offense and nothing special on defense this year. We do not have a rim protector. If I was playing us I would drive to the basket and score too. We foul and they get the and one. We are hard to watch again. I keep wanting to buy into this team and staff. We can’t score 60 points at home? Do we practice shooting?

Well, 0-2 in the conference for the men, 0-1 for the women. On to hosting EKU.

If we stop rushing shots... That's all....

There’s just no offensive structure it seems like. We don’t have good enough shooters to play perimeter basketball. Sorry, just don’t. Then it seems like we never have any cuts to the basket or open looks in the paint which makes it difficult for any team to score, let alone a team that already struggles making shots. I don’t know what the outlook for this season is for the men, but they better get it going offensively. Scoring in the 50s isn’t going to win you many games in this day and age.
