The women couldn’t get it done on Senior Day. Been a long week for them.

How do the men lose that game. Up by 19 at one point. I’m not saying Pujol should get fired but definitely needs to do an overhaul on this roster. This isn’t it.

Jesus Christ when will the madness end?!

Another tough loss. Two games in a row where they lost after leading by 18 or more points. I mean, no words really.
UNA men are 2-12 in the conference with two regular-season games left.

Our defense is pitiful and that is supposed to be what we do well. I was fortunate that I had something else to do today. The women blew it. The men did what I expected. Ready for spring football and cheering for softball. I guess baseball has improved, scored the 1 run instead of getting shutout.

Just wondering why did the Women’s coach call timeout being 10 points behind with 14 seconds left in the game

Thinking to get all seniors in the game?

I got the start time wrong but I just tuned in to see Jax State blowing out Bellarmine at home by 20. Mid second half.

The more you lose, the easier it gets to lose. Or something like that. Speaking strictly as a fan, that is.
To be fair, last night we were without Blackmon, and Brim left with an injury pretty early on. That doesn't excuse the 6 losses before this one, but... it is what it is.
The #1 goal for the offseason needs to be to keep Daniel Ortiz from leaving (I hate I even have to say that). Let's build around him and go from there.

If you remove his wins over non-D1 teams, Pujol's record at UNA is abysmal.

I unfortunately tuned in when we just cut it to a 4 point deficit. Then all we did was make sure whoever had the ball on our team shot it? We have no offensive flow. We really need to at least act like our bigs are capable of scoring from the post. Did Chapman leave the team? Didn’t see him at the game even? Does anyone know? Ortiz is a good player, he needs to trust some of the other players too. Defense we are lost, the opponent shoots way too many uncontested shots. We aren’t good enough offensively to overcome poor execution on defense. Sigh.

Chapman is out with injury. Four games now. I'm glad you called it "offensive flow" because I don't feel like they ever run a play. Yet, they have so many "plays" as options that they have to look down at a chart on their waistbands. But, other than an in-bounds situation, I don't ever see actual plays being run and executed.

With Pujol being a defensive guy at heart, does he allow one of the assistants to be the "offensive coordinator"? I probably sound ignorant here of how the bench operates during a game. I'm assuming one of the assistants is in charge of implementing our offensive sets, right?
Long story short, we may need to take a look at that assistant and decide if he needs to be replaced. I know dealing with the transition is part of the reason for our record, but Xs and Os are fair game to be judged if you ask me.

Regardless of the outcome at JSU Saturday, the Lions will be the last seed in the ASUN West and visit the 3 seed of the East, FGCU. The Eagles beat Liberty on the road in OT last night.
