The Entertainers? Deep Purple? Who cares if we continue to leave out GOLD, right, Gold is a symbol greed. Can't have that. Might send a thousand flakes to the infirmary withh PTSD.
I'm truly glad that I won't be here when this decaying country collapses. My only regret will be kids like my 5 year old granddaughter who will be taken down on this Titanic the same as the beings who have caused this over the last 30 years.

Hey UNA/POD fans!
Sorry to barge in on an old thread. I’m a JSU student/fan, music major, band member, and all that jazz.
Just so you know, the majority of us here in Southerners are with y’all on the name change. It sucks. I was just wondering if anything has been officially presented as a new nickname yet?
Looking forward to hosting TUNA football and the Pride of Dixie next season!

As an alum of the group, I've paid close attention. They seemed to be using both, which I assume, is a way to smooth a transition to just being called "The Pride" (a nickname that was used in the past for the band). After the intro, the announcer (normally Dr. Jones) would say "The Pride of Dixie" before they turned for their first 'park and blow' section and then "The Pride" at the end of the opener. I'm fine either way. Not a big deal to me, personally.
