There are losses, and then there’s THAT first half. I’m not upset with the team or coaches. I’m not even surprised about what happened last night. All I’m saying is it physically makes me ill to watch us get hammered in that sort of way. I watched until halftime basically. In my defense, I’m in the Eastern (or as I call it “Awful”) time zone and my schedule means I am usually DONE at 10:00. One more non-con opponent, and then, who knows? It’ll be a new season with teams likely closer to our talent level. There’s still time for improvement. I wasn't bashing you, I just have to remind myself that it's a huge gap between a new D1 program and the top 10. We will get there, but we have to enjoy the process. Oh I know, and I’ve enjoyed most games so far this season despite the outcome. Just wanted to explain my feelings regarding last night. And to your point about fans showing up win or lose, I agree. Obviously we’ve had that in the (now distant) past. What changed? Did people just get bored after Jacksonville, Troy, and others moved up? Maybe. I’m hopeful things change when we start playing actual D1 schools at Flowers.

It's been a road through hell so far. The positive side is there's no way we should be intimidated from here on out.

What im afraid of, is the women having a good couple of years to start, then nothing.... I have a strange feeling that is about to happen. But, hopefully I'm wrong. The men will get better and better.

UNF is our first ASUN opponent next weekend in Jacksonville. Here's a bit about them. s.al.com/oIuzDIP
