Any chance Tiber gets hired away by someone? Ha ha Too soon? Well, after that interview, I may feel a little different about her. I feel like everything she said was right on. And, regardless of previous jobs and records, she seems to really love this program, and UNA. Sometimes that's what it takes to propel a decent coach into a great coach. She has done some great recruiting, I think all three of the triplets had offers to go to bigger programs. Usually a coach that is just there or don't really care, don't get as emotional as she did, and that makes me feel optimistic about her in the future. The A-Sun will be a little tougher, but I think how good the GSC is will be beneficial to UNA in all sports. No, we may not win the conference, but I think we will be competitive out of the gate. As far as men go, someone said we would get beat by 40 to Lipscomb or FGCU, it's hard to judge that, I watched both get beat by teams that are not that good, but I had also watched both beat fairly good non conference teams. I feel like we will be more competitive than peaple think. I think we just worrie because of uncertainty. And that's understandable. Do I think we need better coaches, always, could it be worse, most definitely. Roar Lions, look out A-Sun.

Not many teams can lose their scoring and assists leader late in the season and recover. I was pleasantly surprised they finished as well as they did.

That loss to West Alabama in the tournament was really, really bad and has the feel of seriously bad coaching.

I thought the team certainly rallied and possibly played better after Ivy Wallen went out with injury. Obviously she's talented but may have been a bit of a ball hog.
But, beating a team by 25 and then losing to them a few days later is terrible.
Hopefully they can pull it together and compete for the conference title. Something they didn't do in D2.
