EKU couldn’t make shots….less than 70 in a game you’re probably going home. Maybe Jacksonville defense is that good? Good win for them. Hoping the Lions can find a way to score enough to hang on in this one. Somebody better check on EKU Steve

So happy the band got to travel to the game! Me too!! Lots of UNA fans spread out too... me and the boys was there... Side note, I know we are the harshest on our own stuff, including facilities, I know they have a nice place, but, we do have a lot to be thankful for. If you went, you know what I'm talking about...

Proud of the team for showing mental toughness. Leading the majority of the game can sometimes be tough on the road. You just KNOW the other team will make a run. Well, at least I as a fan always expect it, ha. Yeah it took a "miracle" to close it out, but I'm just glad we didn't fold.
With EKU out, the path is there to win it all. This season had some disappointing, head-shaking losses, but that can be mostly erased if we can win the next two.
ROAR LIONS!

I know we have to win again on the road, but I get a strange feeling about a UNA, Jacksonville rematch in Florence for the Championship...
I actually think when both teams are playing their best, they are the two best in the ASUN. No disrespect to EKU who earned the 1 spot. Jacksonville was just bad luck short, and UNA has a problem being consistent.

FT shooting bit us again as well as from three. Yet, we were still making 3 FT with 3.6 seconds left from tying the game. No flow. No ball movement. Congratulations on your win. Well done!

Plans are for the band to travel again Thursday. Sweet... unfortunately, kinda, my son's have baseball practice and I have to be there. Not that I would miss my sons and their things. I just hope people show up with a short trip.

I get it, Jacksonville looked bad coming into the tournament, losing 4 out of their last 5 and getting drilled at home by Stetson. Really only had two guys score against y’all. Hard to get up the team up sometimes when maybe they are looking ahead. 3-16 from deep hurt but the free throws buried you guys. 10-17 at home and they hit 90% on the road. Still a great season, and y’all’s big guy was the one I dreaded the most in the tournament. He and Forrest had some battles this year, think we lost more of those than we won.

We played last night like we did the second half of both the Peay and Lipscomb games.

Off-topic a bit, but thinking about Steve and his Colonels, the NCAA really did conferences like ours dirty, in regards to taking away the auto-bid for regular season champs making the NIT. Now a stupid amount of bids go to P6 conference teams, leaving the rest to be filled by likely a few more P6 teams and some of the highest mid-majors. With the respect the ASUN gets (very little), it will be tough for one of our champs to make it into that tournament now. Unfortunately I didn't see EKU listed on some of the projections I've seen.
Meanwhile they continue to talk about expanding the Dance to 72 or even 76. I'm not sure what they're proposing with that, but it NEEDS to include regular season champs.
