11 can’t play much today...too big a liability on defense

Just a terrible start but played even with them since then. But getting down 10 to them that early is difficult to overcome. The Flames are shooting well and didn’t in their first two tourney games.

Press was a great move and Liberty didn’t handle it well. We are k coming down shots, wish we could rebound. Liberty really only beating us on the glass on both ends and haven’t missed a free throw.

Great game to watch. Lions fought hard to fight back and have chance to win it. Liberty is tough.

Very proud of this team! Fought hard until the end and made it a very close and exciting game. The seniors played well, also. Roar Lions!!

Rats! So close. Didn't win it, got behind early but fought back hard. Evident the Lions planned to make Liberty earn it.

Played our guts out, so proud to be a Lion! We looked the part on national tv and should help recruiting.

We have a very bright future, next year we should be solid.
The conference as a whole should get much better next year with UNA, Bellarmine, JSU and EKU along with Liberty. The North is going to be extremely rough to navigate.

Great game, for sure. I think this tournament helped prove that we really were more like the team that was leading the conference at one point, not the one that lost six straight. Of course, in the end the losing streak didn’t really matter since we won a couple of games when it counted. Just wish we could’ve scored just a few more points today. Oh well.
Bright futures ahead for the ASUN. Hopefully someone other than Liberty will win this thing next year. Preferably us, of course.

Think with our depth issues, we all saw the writing on the wall for women’s game tonight. If we ever figure out the third quarter we will be something else. Still holding out hope the men get and accept an invite to the NIT.

Still holding out hope the men get and accept an invite to the NIT. Obviously we were young, but all the ladies missing time for one reason or another probably made it tough to build that team chemistry that worked so well during the years the Wallens/Panetti/etc. were here. Heck, Coach Tiber missed several games as well. Just not a recipe for a great season. I wonder if there's any chance Olivia Noah will return? She's a senior but could come back due to COVID. Maybe with an offseason together and some help from a good freshman class, we can be back at the top of the conference next year.

I just don’t see any way that the men’s team would even have an chance at an post season berth.
Last night during the Press Conference Tiber mentioned that next season there will be 15 players dress out. She also mentioned that there will be some graduate transfers on the team next season.
Will Noah decide to return.
She also said that the three players from last years team decided to opt out this season because of COVID. Will they be on the team next season. Roberts who was indefinitely suspended the last 3 games will she have a chance to be on the team next season.

The women’s season was disappointing in so many ways but there is definitely some young talent on the team. Let’s hope the off-season is productive and positive for that squad.
Also, the men aren’t eligible for the NIT because it’s sponsored by the NCAA (unlike the women’s NIT). The only post-season hope for the men would be the CBI as the CIT has been cancelled.
