Looks like we picked up another player and another has decided to stay for another year, per the Timesdaily:
Football team news
Through the rest of December, the Lions signed one more player and got some news about a current one.
The Lions signed Nick Haynes, a transfer tight end from Ole Miss, on Dec. 18. Haynes played in nine games in 2018 with the Rebels. A native of Washington, Pennsylvania, Haynes previously attended West Liberty University.
Willis said that defensive back K.J. Smith, who was listed as a fifth-year last season on the roster, has decided to return for another year.
Smith, a previous team captain, had 20 tackles and an interception through four games this fall.

Dever will be back as well...
And last I heard, several of our senior class will be returning.
I dont blame them. Just hope Willis can keep freshmen happy.

I bet we are eyeing that large transfer portal for a couple of immediate needs. Really hope we can land a couple of high school offensive line and defensive line. Know we offered DB from Piedmont and DB from Russellville. I haven’t of any others....but I’m not in touch this year with pandemic blocking me from getting to my sources. Anyone hearing any rumblings? I imagine our coaching staff is out there right now trying to identify some potential players.

Here's a surprising tidbit: Jakobi Byrd has decided to leave the program. He's a hometown guy and a positive influence in the locker room.

Not officially leaving, yet. But trending that way. He is staying at UNA to get his degree this spring, but won't be involved in spring practice. Going to revisit at end of semester

Going to revisit at end of semester The degree is the most important part in my opinion. We can talk football all we want, but college is ultimately for education, not football. I hope him the best, maybe he will figure it out. It's not about us, its what's the best for him.

Man, Jakobi is such a talented guy. If he gets his degree and wants to pursue a Master's somewhere else, who can blame him? I'll wish him well if he goes. Hopefully he can go somewhere that gives him a chance to compete for a championship.

Noticed we are offering quite a few PWO’s. I guess for that player that has potential it is worth doing the evaluation and nothing guaranteed. I also wonder how tight numbers are with a majority of the seniors coming back for another year. Carson hopefully recovers at full strength at running back, missed his power last year. Price needs to get more touches, he is a load too. We signed a speed back in Powell. I saw where the back from AustinJevon Jackson, had opened up his recruitment again. He has power and speed, wonder if him and Shackleford are trying to go somewhere as a combo type thing?

Another receiver committed...we should stacked on those guys. Welcome Sawyer and very impressive numbers at 94 receptions, 1194 yards and 13 touchdowns. At 6’3” another tall target.

Is that true?
