Yes I bought my season tickets too. I got the feeling there may not be walk up general admission tickets this year. Wonder how the spacing in Brady stadium will be? Interesting year, let’s hope by season things are closer to normal than today. I think the Ivy pulled the trigger too soon. Hopefully they do not become the defacto voice of FCS. I've always felt social distancing would not be an issue, this year, should we have a season. Also not sure how spacing would be handled but not worried about space bring available.

I was afraid with the meeting being this early it would happen. Hoping we wait another month before making a decision.

I was told the Big South, SoCon and OVC would more than likely mirror the SEC and ACC... but things change in a moments notice...
Y'alls opinions, is more peaple just now getting exposed or is more peaple getting tested that have been exposed?
I think the spike has more to do with testing availability and not necessarily more people getting the virus.

Testing availability has caused a lot of people that were asymptomatic to learn that they have the virus. I also believe that for a 2-3 week span the country stopped taking the virus as serious and that’s when numbers started to rise again IMO.

Testing availability has caused a lot of people that were asymptomatic to learn that they have the virus. I also believe that for a 2-3 week span the country stopped taking the virus as serious and that’s when numbers started to rise again IMO. People were so desperate to get back to normal that they sort of just pretended it went away. At least in the south, where we were more "open" than other parts of the country. This whole situation has been bungled at just about every level. Part of it is, of course, none of us alive have really experienced a widespread pandemic. There are just so many things that could have been handled better. But then, as the late Pat Dye said, "hindsight is 50/50". I honestly don't think a system where players are tested weekly and instructed to take proper precautions during downtime would be *that* dangerous. Neither would a stadium that is cut to a half or third of capacity. I'm not sure if masks are really necessary outdoors, but say they're worn with the restricted attendance, and it would likely be as safe for the fans as anywhere else. There is just a lot of pressure out there from several groups at this point to essentially be "better safe than sorry". Not just for sports, but for college and school attendance, period. Every day I'm leaning more towards that side winning out, right or wrong. If we knew it would help end this thing faster I'd be all for it. As it stands though I'm just not sure what to believe. Heck, I have a 5 year old about to start kindergarten in a month and I'm not even sure whether she'll be in a real classroom or not.

Big 10 no OOC games. PAC12 and ACC strongly rumored to be following suit with ACC accommodating Notre Dame. Looks like Va Tech may be on the brink of being gone. Looks like a good year for having a schedule that includes BYU. Wonder if we can schedule Liberty in VA Tech place? If Indies choose to play this year they may have to go fish.

The ASUN could ask Liberty to fill holes... Especially if Liberty has holes in their schedule. It would only require 2 games being that UNA and KSU are the only scholarship schools. We may have to accommodate Stetson as well if they play a full schedule.

No reason for anyone to say we have not met our requirements when year 4 of purgatory is over. Would also be nice to get at least one of our payday checks.

I hope we get to play at least one of those games, two would be ideal. What’s tough is the third big game would have been a possible sellout. JSU back at Braly would have brought in a lot more people. That’s three money games that may or may not be big revenue now. Pretty sure Covid can be transmitted in conference as well as out of conference.....

You know, if FCS was thinking, even if its without fans, if all FBS conferences decided not to play, FCS would be the only game on.... could pay dividends...

You know, if FCS was thinking, even if its without fans, if all FBS conferences decided not to play, FCS would be the only game on.... could pay dividends... They would never take on that kind of liability, though. Just one player dies and it's "why didn't you shut down like FBS?". The potential of teams going to all-conference schedules in FBS actually makes me wonder, could FCS teams decide just to play a regional schedule? Especially since for us there would be so many schools closer than, say, a Hampton. Obviously the northern and western conferences could mostly stick to their conference members. But if the idea is to have a "bus schedule", they need to just allow teams to work with those closest to them to come up with something. Give me JSU, KSU, Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee State, Austin Peay, UT-Martin, and Samford. That's eight games with no bus ride over 3-4 hours.

Not sure any league will actually be able to play at this point? How can you insure a player/coach/referee from getting Covid in football? How does the team travel on 8-10 buses? How does a team eat their pregame meal as a team? In the locker rooms, think of visiting locker room or closet or Braly...how does that happen? Can all go in there together at halftime? Covid needs to to take a nosedive in cases before we likely get an opportunity to play football in the fall. I love Lions football, but don’t want to risk any player or coach or manager getting sick. Sure most would be fine, but what about the one person that isn’t fine and had something that was unknown until they got sick.
