I was just reading that story earlier. I am surprised by it? He just won 11 games, seemed to be recruiting at a high level. I hope all is well with his family.

Several folks, on different sites, are assuming something nefarious. I think and hope they are wrong. Best of my knowledge, he was a straight up person at UNA.

I hope nothing is serious wrong with the children or Tyla or the marriage itself. But with his statement on resigning makes me think there might be according to past actions while at North Alabama. I have heard that he went after Tyla, also I heard that Tyla seduce him. Whoever was responsible Mark was married to Amy at the time and Tyla knew it. Knowing some reactions from Tyla while they we’re dating makes me think Tyla seduce him.

Yeah, hate to say it, but my first thoughts fell along these same lines due to hearing the rumors while he was in Florence. I just didn’t want to be the first to mention it here, haha. I had my criticisms of him, but I fully admit I’d take him back in a heartbeat. I’m sure he would be able to bring in talent here like he was at APU. For Mark and his family’s sake, I hope it isn’t something that can’t be worked out with some time away from the sport.

Hudspeth was suspended for "unacceptable conduct" before he resigned as APSU football coach. Story from The Tennessean. There are basically two truths at this point concerning Mark Hudspeth. A.) He is a good football coach, and b.) trouble seems to follow him everywhere he goes.

Same high school Rett Files played right? Who would have predicted Huds career path today 6 years ago? Hope this is a good move for him and helps him get his feet back under him, more importantly his head back in the right mind set.

He only needs a couple more years for lifetime benefits.

Very interesting! Also this: “...and, honestly, the top high school jobs are paying about what Sun Belt and Conference USA schools are paying for assistants right now.”
