The day before una died, we took my courageous little granddaughter to see the Lions for the first time. She really wanted to see the "girl lion." Unfortunately, the sign said it was too hot so the Lions were inside. We promised to take her to see una, soon. The next day, una was gone. We never tell her if there has been a pet death that would make her sad.shes had enough tragedy in her short life it was like a punch in the gut. Hopefully Makenzie won't start asking questions. .

Makenzie is doing real well. She's 7 years old and healthy. She's smarter than I was at 35 and no major health problems in about a year and she loves her grandpa!
