Have y’all read the ASUN plan to expand? I suggest it, looks like we will still play FCS football, but in a different conference for other sports with new set of teams, along with Liberty. ASUN planningto expand to 20 teams by June 2023. 13 teams would form UAC, United Athletic Conference. The original 7 ASUN programs will merge with the CCSA to join what is being called a “multi sport conference”. UNA isn’t part of that group, nor is Liberty.

It's kinda vague at this point.

It says UNA, Liberty, and Bellarmine are "equal partners" but that the ASUN 7 is referenced because they meet the requirement for NCAA 'continuity' rules to allow for this merger/reformation/expansion - which will result in a football-only FCS conference with a different name.
The chronological steps in this plan are:
a) ASUN Conference expands to 20 members (by June, 2023) b) The ASUN transfers rights to the ASUN name and marks to the CCSA c) The ASUN 7 join the CCSA (July 1, 2023) d) The CCSA adopts the ASUN name as a multisport conference e) The remaining ASUN members adopt the name United Athletic Conference
United Athletic Conference
This is the “placeholder” name for the NCAA Division I multisport conference created through the ASUN/CCSA collaboration. The United Athletic Conference will sponsor scholarship FCS football.
