Doubt he sees 2024 at Austin Peay. If they can go back to the playoffs and possibly win a game or two he will get looks from FBS program.

A Louisville, Miss., native, Hudspeth worked under former Bulldogs coaches Dan Mullen and Moorhead. Having gone 66-21 as the head coach at Division II North Alabama from 2002-08, Hudspeth was an original member of Mullen’s staff, serving as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator from 2009-10 until he took the ULL job in 2011. He then returned to Starkville as State’s assistant head coach and tight ends coach on Moorhead’s first Bulldog staff before leaving again to take the Austin Peay job. footballscoop.com/news/update-at-mississippi-state/

I hope he gets the chance. Hudspeth would be fun to watch. He may also give North Alabama a chance to play at Mississippi State? Pulling for him.

Lost a WR coach, Tucker, to Florida State. Hope it works out well for him and his family. He did a good job with our receiving group.

Has anyone heard of potential coaching hire for wide receiver? Been pretty quiet after the news of Tucker leaving for Florida State.

Thought I saw somewhere that they’re interviewing some guys at a coaching convention this week.

Thought I saw somewhere that they’re interviewing some guys at a coaching convention this week. Yes, Willis said that's the plan as of the moment.

Agreed, but Tucker knew if he’d just stick his foot in the door that he’ll get picked up by a power 5 down the road. Really good coach.

Hoping we don’t see Lisko get plucked away. He has done a decent job with patchwork oline players last couple of years. Remember the year prior to him taking over oline responsibilities? We get some of these young talented guys in the system for a couple of years and we should be stout at the point of attack.
