Fan Day is Sunday (if I dont have my days mixed up) at the softball stadium. There is a poll(again) on the Timesdaily website asking if you will attend. As of now, 89 no, 6 yes.
I was number 6.
Spread the word, need tons of people to show up. Show your support as well, ITS FREE...

FWIW, it's no longer the poll shown on the front page of TimesDaily.com.
I'd love to take my daughter, but we had obligations this weekend here in Chattanooga. Maybe next year. Hope they have a good crowd!

The girls are getting much older, but we still go as a family. Just a little over an hour drive. Really looking forward to seeing which guys pass the eye test. Also good to catch up with coaches from all the sports. We will try to speak with team represented, so they know we are watching from somewhere, may not be at all sporting events but we keep up with all of them. Here’s to lower humidity or clouds or both on Sunday.

Just re-looked at that, and wasn’t trying to take a negative tone with my original message. A few times over the last few months when people have mentioned polls, I have to go back to the times daily site and search around for it because they don’t always have them on front or where you would expect them to be. That’s all I meant. On the browser on your phone, you should just be able to highlight the address bar and copy that and then paste it in an email. That’s how are usually do it. I don’t use the link utility in these message board apps.

Great turnout...the players were so surprised when you called them by name. Broderick said him weighing 275 was a lie last year...kind of figured that...339 looks right for his height and huge frame. Met Caleb the linebacker...impressive looking fellow. Will said he is a little over 230Ibs. And likely playing mike so he doesn’t come off the field. He is excited about the dline. Said Cowins is better than Burton or Daylie at DE spot...said that wasn’t even close. Sounds promising. Humphrey is a man running back...he s huge....guessing 230-235 all muscle.
Coach said scrimmage was much better Saturday, could tell he liked what he saw. Didn’t get to talk long, people were wanting autographs and the chance to speak with coach. A lot of the players were asking if we were going to be there on Thursday night. We told them we didn’t miss a game. Make all the home games, one road and watch the rest.

My kids got sick on me, could not take them. Seems like plans just get knocked down and crushed too often these days...
Glad it was a good turn out.

Hope your kids are doing better?
I didn’t get to meet Glaze or Ryan, wanted to but just so many folks there and speaking to as many as I could. Saw Nalls was there and I asked about this year? He said he wouldn’t be able to play this year, but he could redshirt and play next year. He never redshirted at Murray State. Good news, especially since we loose Miller next year.

With what looks like a potential kick butt front 7, our offense may not have to be explosive. Ball control, keep the turnovers low and we should be in good shape with our good passing game. Of course it would be a huge boost if Hump can stay healthy and punish defenses with his size and speed..
