Anyone know what they are going to be doing to the softball stadium? They are supposed to have some kind of groundbreaking for renovations to the stadium.

Still haven't heard anything. Hopefully they are adding nice masonry around the stadium and maybe a new box area for press and some luxury boxes. A new video board would be nice to see as well.

Hopefully it is the beginning of the complex being tied together. They also said more renovations other than the new ticket box.

Dont know how reliable this is, but was told that the current grandstand on the softball facilities will end up being "prime seats" and a new upper deck expansion is coming for general admission. The "prime seats" will be all chairback seats. Both upper level and outfield seats will be general admission.
Was also told that the new baseball stadium will be very similar.

I think having the softball and baseball stadiums mirror each other in their setup could be an interesting thing to do. Softball in particular seems to really be growing, so now is a good time to invest in a bigger stadium.
