Really wasn't much of a game...
So tell me this college sports experts, all we hear is how primed KSU is about going to either a better FCS conference or FBS.
If a- football cant draw 2k people for playoff games, or b- men or women basketball cant beat anyone hardly ever. Then why do so many peaple think kSU would be on any other conferences radar?

I think Kennesaw probably thinks they belong in FBS long-term, just based on the fact that a.) they have something like 35,000 students, and b.) they are in a huge metro area fighting for relevance with several other schools. Then you have sports writers that write how they should be in this conference or that conference because of those same factors.
The truth is, the Sun Belt is the starting point for most of these new-to-FBS schools, and with them already having Georgia State in Atlanta, I don’t see any reason they’d want KSU. No other FBS conference seems to be interested in expanding and/or taking FBS teams. As for moving to another FCS conference, the only one that might make sense is the SoCon, but are they even interested in expanding? Maybe they’d surprise me, but I just don’t see that happening.
I’d say the ASUN and KSU both need each other right now. Who knows if the people in charge at KSU see it that way.

But that's just in football... To get to another potentially stronger conference, you must show more than a short term strength in football. Basketball is what seems to be the important sport for conference expansion beyond the ASun and some others.

It went down to 1 point but we held on to win. Both seniors led the scoring and all five starters scored in double figures.
Roar Lions!
